Pneumatic Rubber Fender – Certified Collision Protection for Modern Berthing
Our pneumatic rubber fender is built for one clear purpose: to absorb berthing energy before it reaches the hull or the quay. Manufactured from premium natural rubber and reinforced with high‑strength synthetic cord layers, the fender combines elastic recovery with reliable air retention, giving port operators, shipyards, and vessel owners a dependable defence against collision damage. Every unit is fully certified to ISO 17357, confirming compliance with international marine fendering standards.

Construction and Pressure Options
The fender body uses natural rubber compounds selected for abrasion resistance, seawater tolerance, and resistance to UV and ozone ageing. Multiple reinforcement plies give the wall structural integrity under repeated compression. Two working pressure ratings are available – 50 kPa and 80 kPa – so the fender can be matched to vessel size, berthing velocity, and tidal conditions. Higher pressure suits heavier berthing loads, while lower pressure provides a softer reaction for lighter vessels or sensitive structures.

Three Configurations for Different Berths
We supply three standard types to suit different mooring and protection requirements. The Sling Type includes lifting slings for straightforward handling and installation. The Chain and Tire Net Type adds a protective chain‑and‑tire cover for high‑abrasion locations such as busy container terminals. The Submarine Type is designed for submerged or semi‑submerged service, including floating docks, tidal berths, and offshore applications.

Custom Dimensions and Flange Options
Diameter can be customised from 0.5 m to 4.8 m, and length from 1 m to 12 m, covering small craft through to large bulk carriers and tankers. The standard flange material is Q235 hot‑dip galvanised steel, which provides reliable corrosion protection for normal marine service. Where greater corrosion resistance is required, flanges can be supplied in 304 or 316 stainless steel on request. This allows the fender to be matched to project specifications without compromising pressure performance or safety.

Safety Valves and Air Tightness Testing
Each fender is fitted with safety valves at both ends. These automatically relieve excess internal pressure and reduce the risk of over‑inflation during operation. Before shipment, every fender undergoes an air tightness test. The unit must hold pressure without leakage; only after passing this test is it deflated, folded, and packed. This factory gate check is central to our quality promise – the fender you receive has already demonstrated pressure integrity before it leaves our works.

Classification Society Inspection on Request
For projects requiring third‑party verification, we can arrange inspection by BV, DNV, LR, ABS, or CCS according to customer requirements. This supports port approval, class compliance, and project documentation.

Warranty and Applications
We provide a 2‑year warranty against manufacturing defects. The fender is suitable for commercial ports, container and bulk terminals, ship‑to‑ship transfers, ferry berths, offshore platforms, and mooring buoys. Routine maintenance is minimal: periodic pressure checks and surface cleaning are generally sufficient. With ISO 17357 certification, natural rubber construction, configurable pressure, and tested air tightness, this pneumatic rubber fender delivers a practical, certified, and long‑service fendering solution for demanding marine operations.
