Product Overview
Marine Rubber Airbags (also known as rubber airbags, ship air bags, ship launching airbags, ship salvage airbags, boat salvage airbags, inflatable airbags, ship lifting bags, or air balloons) are manufactured using rubber and multiple layers of rubber-dipped tyre fabric.
These airbags are widely used for launching and landing ships/boats/vessels, lifting and moving heavy goods, and salvaging stranded boats. They have gained popularity among shipyards, ship owners, and marine supply companies due to their extended service life.
Applications
Ship Launching & Upgrading
With over 20 years of development in China, marine rubber airbags have proven to be the most reliable and stable technique for ship launching and upgrading. They are suitable for vessels ranging from small flat boards to ten-thousand-ton ships. This technology is widely recognized by dockyards, shipyards, and port construction companies globally, including markets in America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Weight Lifting & Moving
Marine rubber fenders can be applied to caisson lifting, launching, moving, and transporting in port construction projects.
Buoyancy Aid & Salvage
Due to their buoyancy force and load-bearing capacity, marine rubber airbags are widely used in sunken vessel salvage and buoyancy aid operations.
Technical Requirements
According to CB/T 3795-1996 standard, marine rubber fenders must meet the following requirements:
- Dimensional Deviation: Diameter & Effective Length Deviation: ±2%, Total Length Deviation: ±4%
- Amount of Elastic Deformation: diameter deformation amount ≤ 5% under 1.2 times working pressure
- Safety Factor: >4.5
- Air Tightness: depressurization < 5% after 1 hour inflation
- Surface Quality: fairing line shape, no crack, no bubble, no double skin, no impurities, no distinct dirt and other apparent defects
- End part anti-explosion design
Product Advantages
High Bearing Capacity
Using new rubber formulas and high-strength enhanced synthetic-tyre-cord layers, our airbags achieve bearing capacity two times higher than CB/T 3795-1996 standards.
High Kneading-Resistance Capability
Improved manufacturing techniques and raw material formulas strengthen kneading-resistance capability, preventing issues like delamination and layer buckling during operation.
Advanced Anti-Explosion Design
Our innovative end part design increases bonding strength and air tightness between rubber body and metal parts, ensuring safe operation under higher working pressures.
Optimized Structure Configuration
Through extensive strength and intensity modeling, we've optimized structure configuration design for superior compression performance and stress management.
Excellent Durability
Made of natural rubber with special ingredients and unique manufacturing methods, our airbags offer outstanding abrasion resistance, ageing resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Superior Flexibility and Shock Absorption
Unique integral twining technique creates uniform wall thickness with secondary seam in overlap joints, reducing structural stress and ship launching risks.
